The standard size inlet is considerably restrictive for intercooled applications or vehicles fitted with a 25mm insulator. By CNC porting the inlet manifold, inlet temperatures are reduced and airflow is considerably improved, generating an instant increase in power and torque.

A ported inlet manifold will provide maximum gains and works incredibly well with an intercooled L67 featuring a MACE ported Supercharger. For A2A intercooled vehicles, we can even match-port both your inlet manifold and A2A adapter plate resulting in maximum airflow.

HOW

Air which flows at a high velocity is highly sensitive to obstructions such as the one caused by the standard shaped outlet and generates a lot of friction causing a buildup of heat and loss of power.

Outright gains only paint part of the picture, as the engine response is much better, across the entire RPM range.

This kind of Porting is a very precise and is a systematic process, especially when match-porting is required which is virtually unattainable without the use of CNC milling machines operated by experienced programmers and machine experts available at MACE. 

To have your inlet manifold ported, remove it from the vehicle and send it to us. You may want to consider at the same time to send us your supercharger and/or A2A adapter plate to take advantage of our Combo Porting deals.

Note: To have your inlet manifold ported, simply remove your inlet manifold and send the manifold to us. It is a good idea to also consider porting your supercharger at the same time as it will also need to be removed.
