When it comes to building horsepower and torque, you need to start at the bottom and work your way up. Bullet-proof your LS engine's bottom-end with high quality components from Manley Performance. These fully balanced rotating assemblies are designed for performance enthusiasts wanting to get the most out of their engines.

This is the reason why we have carefully selected this renowned brand to supply us with these components that play a crucial role in an engine’s performance and driveability characteristics.

Stroking out the 5.7L LS1 V8 to no more than 383 cubic inches (6.3L) is fundamental in preserving its reliability. Unfortunately, given the manufacturing processes that were in place at the time of release, the cast iron cylinder liners could only be bored out by 0.010”. Anymore than this could potentially deform cylinder walls under high pressure, especially in boosted applications.

Unfortunately, Manley Performance does not have an off-the-shelf kit ready to go for the LS1. Therefore, we have taken the time and using our sought after automotive engineering background, selected an appropriate combination from their custom parts list to suit both naturally aspirated and boosted setups.

  • 4” Super light weight 4340 material forgings
  • Multi-step heat treatment process and nitrided for added strength
  • Stress relieved, shot-peened and 100% magnafluxed
  • Micro polished large radius journals
  • 24 tooth reluctor wheel

Pistons

  • 3.905” High strength 2618 alloy forgings
  • Exacting ring groove squareness to cylinder wall provides maximum horsepower
  • Offset wrist pin design
  • Premium chrome moly pin included with Standard series
  • Moly coated skirts


Piston Rings

  • 1.5 x 1.5 x 3mm Total Seal (molyin-lay tops standard)


Conrods

  • Light weight design 4340 material forgings
  • Fully machined, heat treated, stress relieved, shot-peened and 100% magnafluxed
  • Big and small end bores are final honed to a tolerance of ± 0.0002"
  • Bend and twist are tightly controlled
  • Weight matched to +/- 1.5 grams
  • H-Beam comes standard with low profile 7/16" ARP 8740 bolts providing additional block and oil pan clearance


          Bearings

  • Premium Clevite® “H” Series narrowed rod bearings and “H” Series main bearings
