You can confirm by removing one of the cam covers and inspecting the chains that run over the cam gears.

Caution:

Once assembled, the timing chain tensioners need to be fully released to maintain adequate tension. Simply pulling the pins is not enough. All tensioners must be pressed in by hand for the internal mechanism to fully pop out and operate effectively. Following this, the motor is to be rotated by hand one full revolution in a clockwise direction to ensure all parts have been fitted correctly. Failing to follow these steps will result in a noisy timing chain upon start up and will require the motor to be disassembled again to access the tensioners.

The main bolt diameter and Rockwell hardness for the relevant assemblies have been carefully researched and selected based off genuine engineering resources. The mammoth M20 thread on the main bolt is the largest compared to any other balancer puller currently on the market, meaning you can rest assured the threads won't strip even whilst removing the most stubborn balancers.

With its superior strength and rigidity, you can remove as many balancers as you like to the point we guarantee it can also be used in an industrial environment without failure.

Modern vehicles rely on 'fly by wire' throttle technology to measure pedal pressure & position to send signals to the engine's computer and convert it to acceleration. Many of these systems have a noticeable delay. iDrive throttle controller reduces this lag and improves response to make the acceleration feel more responsive.

Featured Modes:

EVC throttle controllers are equipped with a very intuitive display and settings menu for easy use. There are 4 modes that offer different settings for different driving styles and conditions.

1. Normal Mode (--): Normal mode is simply a replication of the factory settings, essentially the iDRIVE is switched off.

2. Economy Mode (E): Economy mode has 9 settings that reduce the response from the pedal. The higher you go the more dampened your throttle response becomes, by dampening the throttle we can see increases in fuel economy as well as far greater control of your vehicles traction in off-road situations.

3. Ultimate Performance Mode (U): Ultimate performance mode has 9 settings and can be grouped into three stages:

• Ultimate mode 1-3: Everyday driving with smooth acceleration.
• Ultimate mode 4-6: Sportier, more responsive acceleration, great for use around town where short bursts of acceleration are needed.
• Ultimate mode 7-9: Strap yourself in and activate launch control, instant throttle response, beast mode, don’t say we didn’t warn you.

4. Automatic control (AC) Mode: Automatic control is essentially a set and forget mode. Fly-by-wire throttle systems have two potentiometers, one to measure how hard you press the pedal and the other to measure how far you’ve pushed the pedal. In automatic mode the Idrive can determine these measures for you and adjust the throttle response to suit.

Note: It can take a few days to get used to the EVC different modes and what works best for the driver. We recommend starting on or around Ultimate mode 4 (U4), this gives the driver plenty of throttle response to notice a substantial difference, without being too much to handle straight out of the box. Once the driver is comfortable with the different Ultimate mode settings, then we recommend experimenting with Automatic and Economy Mode.

Valve springs are one of the most critical and overlooked components in your engine. Proper selection of the valve springs begins with identifying the application then selecting all the necessary componentry that will complement the springs in order for the engine to reach its full potential. Unfavourable results will ensue when installing a cam that will have an 8000rpm limit with the incorrect springs and supporting parts. Improper selection of the valve springs is one of the most common causes of engine failure. 

One of the biggest valve spring manufacturers in the States, a specific array of valve spring kits has been developed to work in conjunction with the latest range of next gen GM LS camshafts and all other aftermarket cams in the industry.
