Modern vehicles rely on 'fly by wire' throttle technology to measure pedal pressure & position to send signals to the engine's computer and convert it to acceleration. Many of these systems have a noticeable delay. EVC throttle controllers by iDrive (rebranded as Ultimate9) reduce this lag and improve response to make the acceleration feel more responsive.

EVC throttle controllers are equipped with a very intuitive display and settings menu for easy use. There are 4 modes that offer different settings for different driving styles and conditions.
1. Normal Mode (--): Normal mode is simply a replication of the factory settings, essentially the EVC is switched off.
2. Economy Mode (E): Economy mode has 9 settings that reduce the response from the pedal. The higher you go the more dampened your throttle response becomes, by dampening the throttle we can see increases in fuel economy as well as far greater control of your vehicles traction in off-road situations.
3. Ultimate Performance Mode (U): Ultimate performance mode has 9 settings and can be grouped into three stages:
4. Automatic control (AC) Mode: Automatic control is essentially a set and forget mode. Fly-by-wire throttle systems have two potentiometers, one to measure how hard you press the pedal and the other to measure how far you’ve pushed the pedal. In automatic mode the EVC can determine these measures for you and adjust the throttle response to suit.

Note: It can take a few days to get used to the EVC's different modes and what works best for the driver. We recommend starting on or around Ultimate mode 4 (U4), this gives the driver plenty of throttle response to notice a substantial difference, without being too much to handle straight out of the box. Once the driver is comfortable with the different Ultimate mode settings, then we recommend experimenting with Automatic and Economy Mode.
The low temperatures in cold weather make it difficult for the fuel to ignite in diesel engines. Thus glow plugs in such temperatures, assist in heating the air-fuel mixture, so that a smooth ignition can be achieved.
NGK glow plugs are specifically designed to provide a reliable engine start and excellent post-glow functionality even in the worst weather conditions. Their unique shell design provides higher heat transfer, exceptional gas-tight sealing, high shear torque, and high resistance to deformation of the heating coils.
